Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control the offensive odor of various products of waste water treatment efficiently for a long time and preventing the pollution due to offensive odor when dewatered sludge cake is carried out or transported by making a deodorant for waste water treatment products from a specified compound and ommatine and/or its metallic derivatives.
CONSTITUTION: Waste water treatment products (supernatant, solid residue, mixture of those, concentrated sludge, dewatered cake, and other products) are contacted with a deodorant which is made from a compound indicated by an attached expression and ommatine and/or its metallic derivatives to deodorize the products. In the expression, X is bromine atom or chlorine atom, R1 is hydrogen atom or 1-18C substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aryl group (substituent: X, hydroxyl group, or lower alkyl group), and r2 is R1 or X.
