Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the size of a deodorizer most appropriate to ozone generation by determining the distance between the ozone lump and the inside walls of the casing to be less than the specific times of the ozone lump's diameter.
SOLUTION: The amount of ozone to be generated can be controlled by adjusting the distance between ozone lump 12 and, for example, the inside wall of the casing to which light is radiated. In case that the distance between the ozone lump 12 and the wall excesses ten times of ozone lump 12's diameter, the increased amount of the generated ozone corresponding to the distance will be decreased. Accordingly, the distance between the ozone lump 12 and the inside wall of the casing 11 should be determined as it can be smaller than ten times of the ozone lump 12's diameter. While having the ozone lump 12 inside the casing 11 of deodorant device 1 lighted to the wall 14 to be illuminated and the inside wall of the casing 11, ozone is generated. Thus, ozone that corresponds to the distance of average between the ozone lump 12 and the wall 14 or the casing 11 can be generated. Thus, the most appropriate amount of ozone can be obtained.
