To provide a deodorizing apparatus of high deodorization efficiency that decomposes odor components by catalytic action.
The deodorizing apparatus is equipped with a catalyst pipe 37 carrying a catalyst, a catalyst heater 30 to heat the above catalyst pipe 37 and a catalyst case 31 to house the above catalyst pipe 37 and the above catalyst heater 30. A gas to be deodorized is supposed to pass one of the inside and outside of the above catalyst pipe 37 and then to pass the other side. The deodorizing apparatus can carry out deodorization with high efficiency because the gas to be deodorized is heated gradually to a high temperature while passing one of the inside and outside of the catalyst pipe 37 heated by the catalyst heater 30 and then passes the other side of the catalyst pipe 37 before discharged.
