Title:
DEODORIZING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001353209
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a deodorizing device capable of removing a toxic gas component requiring minimal replenishing and replacing of a constituting component and without requiring special treatment at disposal.

A spatial discharge mechanism 3, a photocatalytic module 4 and an ozone decomposing catalyst 5 are arranged in an air blowing passage 1 of this deodorizing device, and the photocatalytic module 4 is made to perform the phtocatalytic action by ultraviolet rays generated by high voltage discharge of the spatial discharge mechanism 3. Further, by the ozone decomposing action by ozone generated by the high voltage discharge and the ozone decomposing catalyst 5, mal-odor components and a toxic component included in indoor air are oxidized and decomposed.
