PURPOSE: To make a space on the top of a desk wide by normally housing a key board and an image scanner device in a drawer, storing a liquid crystal display inside, mounting a touch type display device on the desk and connecting the connection cord of a light pen and mouse driver to the desk.

CONSTITUTION: An input/output device 10 reads a figure or a document with the image scanner device 4 and inputs information such as distribution destination, etc., from the touch type display device 1 to transmit it via a terminal controller 7. Normally, the liquid crystal display device 2 is stored in the desk 8 and the key board 3 is housed in the drawer. At the time of developing a program or using the device as a word processor, they are used by taking out onto the desk in accordance with necessity. The image scanner device 4 is housed in the drawer of the desk 8 and used by drawing the drawer only at the time of using it. Thus, the upper surface of the desk 8 is widely used.
