Abstract:

A four-valve cylinder head for internal combustion engines, in which the valves (7A, 7B) are operated desmodromically, each by a pair of rockers (15, 30), one for closing and the other for opening the respective valve, each rocker (15, 30) being mounted on a separate support pin (17, 33), and the rockers (15, 30) being controlled by parallel cam-shafts (19, 20).
