Abstract:
A protective structure for an electrical circuit device (1) attached to a vehicle includes a resin case (4), an electrical circuit (2), and a rigid body (3, 15, 26). The electrical circuit (2) is contained in the resin case (4). The rigid body (3, 15, 26) is contained in the resin case (4). The rigid body (3, 15, 26) protrudes toward a collision-prone side of the vehicle beyond the resin case (4). The rigid body (3, 15, 26) deforms or displaces to absorb collision energy when the vehicle is involved in a collision on the collision-prone side.
