Abstract:
PURPOSE:To avoid the danger of traveling of a vehicle while forgetting to close a fuel cap by outputting a cap closing forgetting signal when a fuel lid is closed while forgetting to close said fuel cap. CONSTITUTION:When a fuel cap 3 is forgotten to be closed at a time t3, a positive pressure detecting signal D2<+> from a second pressure sensor S2 fails, without causing an AND gate a2 to conduct. Even if a fuel lid 4 is closed at t4 outputting the positive pressure detecting signal D1<+> of a first pressure sensor S1, the Q output of a flip-flop FF4 is maintained at a low level without resetting flip-flops FF1, FF2 and without turning on a normally closed sign lamp 9. And, an AND gate a4 conducts by means of the positive pressure detecting signal D1<+> outputting a cap closing forgetting signal, causing the Q output of an FF5 to be an H level, and sounding a buzzer 12, and an interlock signal is outputted to prohibit the start of an engine.
