Abstract:
To provide a detection device, a cam mechanism, and a sealing body opening method capable of reliably moving an operation part by which a sealing body is opened to an original position.SOLUTION: A holding mechanism 2 holds a liquid-sealed cartridge 200 in which a liquid for treating a substance to be detected contained in a specimen is sealed by a sealing body. A detection section 7 detects the substance to be detected that has been treated with the liquid in the liquid-sealed cartridge 200. An operation section 29 performs a pressing operation on sealing bodies 231a and 232a of the liquid-sealed cartridge 200. A contactor 28 is connected to the operation section 29. A cam body 27 has a cam groove 35 in which the contactor 28 is disposed so as to be contactable. By relatively moving the contactor 28 along the cam groove 35, the operation section 29 connected to the contactor 28 is moved in a direction in which the sealing bodies 231a and 232a are pressed and a direction in which the pressing of the sealing bodies 231a and 232a is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
