Abstract:
To provide a detector and a detection method with which it is possible to detect a detection object with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A detector for detecting the presence of a detection object included in a sample or a specific detection object extracted from the sample on the basis of the permeability or reflectance of an electromagnetic wave in a sensor, comprises: an irradiation unit, a detection unit and a control unit. The control unit measures, in each of a plurality of frequencies using the irradiation unit and the detection unit, the reference permeability or reference reflectance of the electromagnetic wave of the sensor to which the specific detection object extracted from the sample is not added; measures, in each of a plurality of frequencies using the irradiation unit and the detection unit, the detection permeability or detection reflectance of the electromagnetic wave of the sensor to which the specific detection object extracted from the sample is added; and detects the detection object on the basis of the reference permeability or reference reflectance in the plurality of frequencies and the detection permeability or detection reflectance in the plurality of frequencies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
