Abstract:
To obtain a detection device with which it is possible to detect the concentration of a sulfur compound included in a desulfurized raw material gas, and a hydrogen producing device.SOLUTION: With the detection device, a hydrogen gas having passed through a first supply port is supplied from one side to an electrolyte layer and a desulfurized raw material gas having passed through a second supply port is supplied from one side to the electrolyte layer. When a sulfur compound is included in the raw material gas, the electrolyte layer is poisoned by this sulfur compound and the electrical characteristic of the electrolyte layer thereby changes. A concentration detection unit detects the concentration of the sulfur compound included in the desulfurized raw material gas on the basis of a change of the electrical characteristic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
