Abstract:
To provide a detection device capable of appropriately monitoring a suspicious person in a target area such as a plant.SOLUTION: A detection device structured so as to determine whether or not a person existing in a target area has an access authority to the target area comprises: a detection part structured so as to detect a mobile body by using a measuring distance sensor which can detects existence of the mobile body movable in the target area; a determination part structured so as to determine whether or not the detected mobile body is a person by using a human sensor capable of detecting a person; and an authentication part structured so as to execute an authentication of the mobile body when it is determined that the detected mobile body is a person. The authentication part includes: an authentication information request part structured so as to request a transmission of authentication information via a radio communication to the mobile body; and an authentication determination part structured so as to determine whether or not the mobile body has an access authority on the basis of a result of the radio communication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
