PURPOSE: To obtain a hybridoma by fusing an anti-DNA forming B cell of a pathologic model MRL mouse of a systemic erythematodes of an animal of an autoimmune disease with a mouse myeloma cell strain, capable of producing an anti-DNA antibody for detecting a microorganism, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This new hybridoma deposited as FERM-P14,691 in the National Institute of Bioscience and Human-Technology is a fused cell of an anti-DNA forming B cell of a pathologic model MRL mouse of a systemic erythematodes (SLE) of an animal of an autoimmune disease with a cell of a myeloma cell strain PAI derived from a mouse of the same system and produces an IgG type anti-DNA antibody. The hybridoma is useful for producing a new anti-DNA antibody capable of rapidly measuring a viable cultured cell number measured without restriction by a specific microorganism, virus, etc., and rapidly detecting a very small amount of a microorganism, a virus, etc., in a test solution in high sensitivity.
