Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a developer for electrostatic charge image development excellent in the sustainability of release property, lubricating property and transfer property which does not deteriorate with time or repetition of use.
CONSTITUTION: The toner contains at least 100 pts.wt. binder resin having 50-70°C glass transition temp. (Tg), 0.2-20 pts.wt. solid wax showing >50 C onset temp. in the DSC curve, 0.1-20 pts.wt. coloring agent and/or 1-200 pts.wt. magnetic powder, and 0.1-20 pts.wt. lubricant particles containing 10-90wt.% liquid lubricant. This toner and an inorg. fine powder treated with an org. material and externally added to the toner are mixed to obtain the developer for electrostatic charge image development. The surface of the toner particle has the liquid lubricant.
