To provide a developer storage unit configured to supply developer through a rotation shaft arranged in a developer storage chamber, while preventing reduction in accuracy of detecting the amount of residual developer, and to provide a developing device, a process cartridge, and an electrophotographic image forming device.
A developer storage unit 22 includes: a frame body 18 which forms a developer storage chamber 4a for storing developer, and has a through hole 18g penetrating from the outside to the inside of the developer storage chamber; a hollow rotation shaft 31 having an end opening 31f and a side opening 31h; a drive transmission member 36 inserted in the end opening 31f; a detection part 40 for detecting the amount of developer; a conveyance member 32 arranged in the rotation shaft 31; and a receiving part 34 provided in the rotation shaft 31. The side opening 31h of the rotation shaft 31 is arranged, in a rotation direction of the rotation shaft 31, on the downstream of the receiving part 34 and the upstream of the conveyance member 32, and is not arranged on the downstream of the conveyance member 32 and the upstream of the receiving part 34.
