Abstract:

To provide a developing device or the like that suppresses the developer (toner) powder pressure of an end of a partition member (partition wall), prevents a toner supply failure, and prevents image noise.

This developing device 100A includes a toner storage chamber 101, a toner supply chamber 103 having a supply roller 106 for supplying toner to a developing roller 107, and the partition wall 104 that partitions the toner storage chamber 101 and the toner supply chamber 103 and includes an opening 105 in a center part for communication. The interval between the partition wall 104 and the supply roller 106 in the center part (L1) in the longitudinal direction is narrower than that at both ends (L2) (L1L2).
