Abstract:
To provide a method to detect a derailment of a railway vehicle more surely.SOLUTION: When a derailment occurs, derailing of a railway vehicle 2 from a rail 4 is detected. A first breaking member 3 to be broken when a bend angle θbetween adjacent vehicle bodies 2a, 2a exceeds a predetermined angle αis installed between the adjacent vehicle bodies 2a, 2a of the railway vehicle 2. First grasping means 5 to grasp the breakage of the first breaking member 3 is installed. After the predetermined angle αis set so that the first breaking member 3 is broken when the bend angle θexceeds the predetermined angle α, the first breaking member 3 is installed between the adjacent vehicle bodies 2a, 2a. After that, the breakage of the first breaking member 3 is grasped by the first grasping means 5.EFFECT: As a physical phenomenon that is the breakage of the first breaking member is directly detected, the derailing at the time of the derailment can be more surely detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
