Title:
DEVICE FOR CHARGING BATTERY, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISTRIBUTING ENERGY, CONTROLLER FOR CONTROLLING POWER SUPPLY, METHOD FOR DETERMINING LOAD REQUIREMENT TO ELECTRIC NETWORK, INDUCTIVE POWER TRANSMISSION PAD AND INDUCTIVE POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015133904
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductive power transmission (IPT) pad and system for charging an electric or hybrid electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A charging pad 20 has eight ferrite bars 22 by being shifted to one another by 45°, and is arranged on a metal back plate 21 for substantially restricting passage of magnetic fluxes. The ferrite bars are held at predetermined positions by a rubber-like molding 23. A coil consisting of a litz wire is tied by the magnetic fluxes passing through the ferrite bars. The coil is positioned on the ferrite bars in an area 24 of the charging pad so as to be wound around a nearly circular body of the charging pad nearly to the middle of length of the ferrite bars. An aluminum small piece 25 is connected to or integrally formed on the back plate in order to help control of patterns of the magnetic fluxes to be generated. A cover 28 is connected to an upper part of a main circular body of the pad. The cover is formed to be comparatively thin by a material which does not prevent passage of the magnetic fluxes.
