Abstract:

PURPOSE: To compositely shorten an extrusion treating time and efficiently improve the productivity in a unit time by comparing a signal detected with a laser speed sensor with a set value and controlling the operating speed of a hydraulic device of an aluminum shape extruder.

CONSTITUTION: The operating speed of the hydraulic device of the aluminum shape extruder is detected with the laser speed sensor 10, the detected signal is stored in a computer 50, a control signal is calculated by comparing the detected results with the set value, the control gain of the operating speed of the hydraulic device is continuously calculated using the obtained comparison value and prediction control is performed with the computer 50 taking the time lag of oil pressure into consideration by automatically switching the speed between feed-back control and feed-forward control. To execute the max. torque output control, the prediction control is enabled by detecting dead time and analyzing the behavior of a ram in an air bleeding motion and deciding rising tendency.
