PURPOSE: To obtain a curving apparatus having simple constitution and also easy to assemble, by forming a tongue piece to the end part of each of joint members to overlap the tongue pieces of the joint members adjacent to each other and providing a connection hole to one tongue piece while providing a revolvable projection to the other tongue piece.
CONSTITUTION: An insert part 2 is formed by connecting a flexible tube part 5, a curved pipe part 6 and a leading end constituting part 7, and the curved part 6 is equipped with a curved tube 9 formed by connecting a large number of joint members 8. The tongue piece 10 of each of the joint members 8 on the opening part side thereof is positioned so as to be shifted by 90° in the peripheral direction with respect to the tongue piece 10 provided to the other and of each of said joint members and the tongue pieces of the joint members 8 adjacent to each other are opposed to each other and one of them enters inside in the diameter direction to be overlapped with the other tongue piece 10 and a circular connection hole 11 is formed to one tongue piece 10 while the projection 12 inserted in the connection hole 11 is formed to the outside tongue piece 10 and the projection 12 is engaged with the connection hole 11 to connect the joint members 8 in a manner mutually revolvable around the projection 12. A wire insert hole 13 is formed to each of the leading end parts 12a of the projections 12 and an angle knob 15 is revolved to pull an operating wire 14 to perform curving operation of the curved tube 9.
