Title:
DEVICE FOR DETECTING SPEED OF BELT TORQUE-TRANSMITTING MEANS OF CONICAL DISK BELT TORQUE-TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004191379
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a device for detecting a speed of a belt torque-transmitting means of a conical disk belt transmission which is simple in construction, and precise in accuracy.

The conical disk belt torque-transmission is rotationally provided on two parallel shafts 8, 10 apart from each other, and two conical disk pulleys 4, 6, each of which is composed of two conical disks. Each spacing of the two conical disks in an axial direction is reversely variable for varying transmission ratio. Thereby, the belt torque-transmitting means 12 is engaged with the conical surface of the conical disk pulley independently with transmission speed. Furthermore, a sensor 40 is provided for measuring the speed of the belt torque-transmitting means at a point s where is relatively independent with the transmission ratio on the moving path of the belt torque-transmitting means.
