Abstract:
To enable the determination of sleep apnea syndrome without imposing a burden on a subject.SOLUTION: Biological vibration data is obtained on the basis of body movement or pressure change during sleep of a subject. A plurality of feature quantities or frequency spectra are then calculated at a regular interval from the acquired biological vibration data. Furthermore, after determining sleep stages from the plurality of calculated feature quantities or frequency spectra using a plurality of decision trees having branching conditions for determining the sleep stages, a sleep apnea syndrome is determined on the basis of a determination result obtained by the combination of the classification criteria of the decision trees used for the determination. Alternatively, a power spectrum of a frequency component included in the biological vibration data is calculated, then the contribution degrees to the classification of the plurality of decision trees each having different branching conditions are calculated with respect to the power spectrum of the frequency component, and a sleep apnea syndrome is determined on the basis of the calculated contribution degrees.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
