PURPOSE: To make an apparatus indicate the accepting of a remote-controlled command by providing an opening-indicating part which gives indications corresponding to signals inputted to a drive part which converts the signals to and outputs a signal denoting accepting of return control, a signal denoting opening of the gas passageway, or a signal denoting abnormality in the use of gas.
CONSTITUTION: By controlling a switching part 5 a signal denoting receiving of return control is inputted to a shutoff valve drive circuit 3; an electromagnetic coil 12 is supplied with a forward current I1 so that a plunger 13 is moved downward and a valve 10 provisionally open a gas passageway 2; from the shutoff valve drive circuit 3 a forward current I1 also flows to a drive part 18 and a signal denoting the accepting of the return control is inputted to an opening-indicating part 15. which in its turn indicates the accepting of the return control. When gas starts to flow in the gas passageway 2, a flow-rate judgment part 17 compares the use of gas with a criterion and, if the use of gas is judged proper, a related decision signal is inputted to the shutoff valve drive circuit 3 and then converted to a control current, which is outputted to keep the gas passageway 2 open; the decision signal is inputted also to the drive part 18 and the opening-indicating part 15 switches the indication to 'the gas passageway is open.' If the flowrate judgment part 17 judges the use of gas to be abnormal, the gas passageway 2 is shut off and the opening-indicating part 15 switches the indication to 'the use of gas is abnormal'.
