Title:
DEVICE FOR INTERRUPTING LOAD FOR INDUSTRIAL POWER GENERATOR PLANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3635842
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove unnecessary load interruption at drop-off of a generator.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with circuits 2 and 4 which detects the frequency of the bus voltage of a power generator plant (60Hz) operated in cooperation with a power system having dropped to 59.0Hz and 58.5Hz, a circuit 6 which takes in the opening and closing conditions of the primary and secondary breakers CB1 and CB2 of a power receiving transformer and detects the break of the linking, AND1 and AND2 which output the trip signals for CB7 and CB6 to cut off the specified load when the circuits 2 and 4 detect the drop of frequency on conditions of break of linking, and timers T1 and T2 which output the trip signals for CB7 and CB6, confirming that the frequency drop signals from the circuits 2 and 4 having passed for specified times severally, and in the case of frequency drop by break of linking, this device cuts off the specified load quickly with the circuits of AND1 and AND2, and in the case of the frequency drop by the drop-off of a generator in linking, this cuts off the specified load, waiting for the specified time capable of frequency recovery with the circuit of T1 and T2.
