Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent generation of the skew of the paper without increasing the cost in a manual paper feeding device.
CONSTITUTION: A regulating member 30 is turnably provided on a manual paper feeding port 11a. The regulating member 30 is constantly energized by a coil spring 32 to abut an abutting part 30b to an appropriate member, and held at the regulating position to block the manual paper feeding port 11a and a carrying roller 20. When the paper is fed, the tip of a thermo-sensible paper to be fed from the manual paper feeding port 11a is abutted on the abutting part 30b and arranged parallel to a roller shaft 20a of the carrying roller 20. The thermo-sensible paper is further pushed in to turn the regulating member 30 against the coil spring 32 from the regulating position to the retracting position by the rigidity of the paper, and the thermo-sensible paper is guided by a guide plate 25 so that the tip reaches the carrying roller 20. Then, the carrying roller 20 is rotated to feed the thermo-sensible paper, and when the rear end is detached from the regulating member 30, the regulating member 30 is returned to the original regulating position based on the energizing force of the coil spring 32.
