Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a data erasure system for terminal equipment with which the data of terminal equipment installed at plural positions can be safely and easily erased in a short time.
CONSTITUTION: An amusement place managing device is basically composed of a cash handling terminal equipment 3 and a hall managing computer 5. Besides, the data erasure system for terminal equipment is constituted by adding a data erasing device 7 to the amusement place managing device. This data erasing device 7 is composed of a clear command output means 71 for receiving an erase signal to be outputted when erasing cash data with the managing computer 5 and for applying a clear signal corresponding to this erase signal to a clear means 40 of the terminal equipment 3 and a clear complete signal receiving means 72 for receiving a data clear complete signal to be outputted from a complete signal sending means 41 at each terminal equipment 3 when stored data in the terminal equipment 3 are completely erased, for shaping the waveform of the data clear complete signal and for applying it to the managing computer 5.
