Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To spread an adhesive over the entire adhesion area to reduce protrusion of the adhesive to the outside of the adhesion area.SOLUTION: A device 100 for manufacturing a member for a display comprises: an adhesive application device 1 that applies an adhesive R to a liquid crystal panel S1 being a first workpiece in a punctiform or linear form; and a plasma processing device 5 as an adhesion area modification device that performs processing of increasing a lyophilic property to the adhesive R to an adhesion area of a cover panel S2 being a second workpiece to be adhered with the liquid crystal panel S1 compared with an outer edge area being another area. The device 100 for manufacturing a member for a display further includes a lamination device 2 that brings the adhesive R applied to the liquid crystal panel S1 into contact with the adhesion area of the cover panel S2 to laminate the liquid crystal panel S1 and the cover panel S2 with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
