Abstract:
To provide a device for measuring the wear volume of a railing guide on the return side of an escalator which can easily measure the wear volume of the back surface of a return side railing guide rail.SOLUTION: A device for measuring the wear volume of a railing guide rail on a passenger conveyor return side includes: a base part 11 in a guide rail arm part 22; and a measuring device 12 in the base part 11 for measuring the wear volume of the back surface 211 of the guide rail body 21, the measuring device 12 having a fixed part 121 fixed to the base part 11 and a movable part 122 movable in a height direction to the fixed part 121, the movable part being in contact with the back surface 211 of the guide rail body 21. The measuring device measures the wear volume of the back surface 211 of a guide rail body 21, using the amount of movement of the movable part 122 to the fixed part 121.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
