PURPOSE: To use a tool for a long time by sufficiently dealing with the case of accelerating a CPU for control at an electronic control unit even at such a time concerning the controller for changing and controlling an electronic control type prescribed controlled system such as an engine or a change gear by emulating the ROM data of the electronic control unit for controlling the controlled system while using an emulation RAM.
CONSTITUTION: An emulation RAM 5 for emulating the data of a ROM 4 is provided inside an electronic control unit 1 and when a CPU 3 for control at the unit 1 performs ROM emulation, the emulation RAM 5 is accessed from the CPU 3 for control at the intervals of control to be originally performed such as control to the controlled system, the ROM emulation is performed and time for access is shortened. Besides, the CPU 3 for control and a controller 22 of this control device are connected through a DPRAM 7 to be accessed from two directions.
