Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of stability of an engine even when the degree of changes with time of injection characteristics is different for each fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: An inter-cylinder air-fuel ratio variation detection section 1100 calculates an air-fuel ratio variation index (Ind_imb) showing a variation degree of an air-fuel ratio between cylinders from an exhaust air-fuel ratio, an engine speed, or the like. A fuel injection pulse width limitation section 2100 sets an (allowable) minimum value (Min_TI) of a fuel injection pulse width to be longer when the air-fuel ratio variation index (Ind_imb) is higher than a set value compared to when the air-fuel ratio variation index (Ind_imb) is lower than the set value. A fuel injection pulse width calculating section 3100 calculates fuel injection pulse widths (TI_1, TI_2, TI_3, TI_4) of the respective cylinders so that the fuel injection pulse widths are not less than the minimum value (Min_TI).
