Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to carry out surely and stably a choke operation with a relatively simple configuration and to suppress degradation in the durability of constituent components in a work machine that can switch over among the starting and stopping operations and the choke operation of an internal combustion engine serving as a power source.SOLUTION: A chainsaw (work machine) includes: an operation portion 11 provided in a handle 6 and operated by an operator to rotate; a rotation arm 15 supported to be rotatable about a base end 15a; and a choke rod 16 coupled to a choke operation member 122 and a tip end 15b of the rotation arm 15. If the operation portion 11 is operated to rotate from an operation position to a choke position, then a wall 11c of the operation portion 11 rotates the rotation arm 15, and the choke operation member 122 closes a choke valve in response to moving of the choke rod 16 as this rotation arm 15 rotates.
