Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biopolymer-detecting device that can easily, reliably, and simply detect the abundance of a series of plurality of target biopolymers that exist in a sample and is functionally closely related, can efficiently carry out the diagnosis of disease or the like, and can be applied to array chip technology.
SOLUTION: The biopolymer-detecting device has a vibration induction means for inducing vibration, a bonding means that can resonated by vibration induced by the vibration induction means and at the same time can be bonded to or interact with a target biopolymer, and a detection means for detecting whether the bonding means is bonded to or interacts with the target biopolymer or not. Preferably, the biopolymer-detecting device is equipped with a base part electrode where the vibration induction means is provided at one end of the bonding means, a vibration induction electrode that is arranged near the bonding means, and an AC power supply that is connected while making continuity with the base part electrode and vibration induction electrode and can apply an AC voltage.
