To provide a modular finish-processing device for conducting punching, embossing, groove-cutting, or perforation on a printing sheet in an in-line manner, introducing the printing sheet into a processing gap for finish processing with no printing sheets delivered onto processing cylinders by nippers.
The modular finish-processing device is realized as a rotary finish-processing device, and the printing sheet is introduced through two rotating processing rollers. The processing tool members operate while they are passing the processing gap, thereby finish-processing is conducted on the printing sheet. The two processing cylinders do not include nippers in order to simplify the modular processing device. For feeding the printing sheet, the printing sheet is introduced into the modular finish-processing device and the processing gap between the two processing cylinders. The feeding means operates on the optimally even path.
