Abstract:

PURPOSE: To hold the consistency of data inside a data base by correcting data elements inside the data base.

CONSTITUTION: A work unit manager included in an object-directive program 12 inside a data processor 11 manages the data for the activity of a related work and imparts an application program with the possibility of maintaining the relative consistency. In the operation, the work unit manager is initialized by the application program. Then, when a task performing a processing is passed through the level of a work unit and advanced, the work unit manager prepares many copies of the instance of the same object. Essentially, many instances impart the timewise traces of correction performed to the data. Thus, the consistency of the data in the data base is held.
