Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide related gene information by computing the development frequency of a gene provided by a user according to genome databases wherein specific gene groups are classified.
SOLUTION: This physiological-phenomenon-related gene providing device 20 which provides a physiological-phenomenon-related gene including the development frequency of the gene for gene information from the user includes a user data management unit 30 which receives the gene information from the user, a physiological-phenomenon-related genome database having genome databases 51, 52, and 53 which consist of physiological-phenomenon-related gene groups and have the respective physiological-phenomenon-related gene groups in advance, and an arithmetic unit 40 which compares the gene information provided by the user and counts genes included in gene information matching genes belonging to the classified genome databases to compute the development frequency of the genes. Further, the device has an output means which outputs the physiological-phenomenon-related genes including the manifestation frequency of the genes.
