To provide a device and method for recovering a converter exhaust gas, which reduce analysis response delay of an oxygen analysis in gas in an exhaust gas passage after dust collection, and can increase the amount of recovery of converter exhaust gas, in a converter exhaust gas recovering device which collects dust in an exhaust gas which has generated at a converter, and collects combustible gas with non-combustion.
The converter exhaust gas recovering device includes: an oxygen concentration analyzer in gas (a furnace top oxygen analyzer 21), and CO concentration analyzer in gas (a furnace top CO analyzer 22) at an exhaust gas passage before dust collection of a converter furnace top; and an oxygen analyzer in gas (a furnace bottom oxygen analyzer 23) at an exhaust gas passage after dust collection, and is characterized, as the furnace bottom oxygen analyzer 23, using a laser formula gas analyzer 25 which irradiates a laser beam into exhaust gas in a flue, and measures a gas concentration from a quantity of light change by optical absorption of the laser beam. In addition, the converter exhaust gas recovering method is performed by using the converter exhaust gas recovering device.
