Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the device and method for sterilizing pathogenic bacteria remaining on a fix-planting panel set in a culture bed used for nutritive solution culture.
CONSTITUTION: The thermally sterilizing device is basically provided with a a boiler 11, a heating tank 12, and an auxiliary tank 13. The boiler 11 supplies 65-70°C hot water into the heating tank through the first piping 26, and the heating tank is connected to the boiler 11 with the second piping 27 through the first valve 21, a piping joint 32, a filter 15 and a circulation pump 14. The third piping 28 extended from the piping joint 32 is connected to the auxiliary tank 13 through the second valve 22, and the fix-planting panel 17 is set in the heating tank 12 and thermally sterilized with the 65-70°C hot water supplied from the boiler 11 for 30-60min. After the thermal sterilization, the hot water in the heating tank 12 is dropped into the auxiliary tank 13 through the first valve 21, the piping joint 32, and the second valve 22. The fix-planting panel 17 is exchanged with another fix-planting panel, and the hot water in auxiliary tank 13 is supplied into the heating tank 12 through the second value 22, the filter 15, the circulation pump 14 and the boiler 11.
