Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of exactly moving an object to be moved in a prescribed direction just in a required amount, and highly accurately positioning it.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a moving object 6, leaf springs 20 and 24 arranged symmetric to the central axis P of this moving object so as to support the moving object freely translatably, and actuators 22 and 16 for X and Y direction driving for moving the moving object. Concerning the leaf springs, the rigidity with respect to bending force to be operated in the case of moving the moving object is small and the rigidity with respect to compressing force and tensile force to be operated in the case of moving the moving object is large.
