Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a production cost by placing a glass/plastic composite by a pressing unit and the composite at a rotary shaft of a treating unit for introducing or discharging to or from a press in the direction perpendicular to a horizontal moving plane during a work to be executed in advance to a pressing work, thereby pressing an upgraded bent piece without hand. CONSTITUTION: A glass sheet V is moved forward along a conveyor 13, and stopped on a conveyor 15. A turning unit 17 is raised to a vertical position, and its suction cup unit 18 has already been set to take up the sheet V. When the sheet V is taken up by the cup, a base 3 is moved laterally. Simultaneously, a shaft 19 is rotted to an angle to become a desired angle for best introducing the sheet V between rolls 2 perpendicularly around an axis of the shaft 19. When the sheet V arrives at a pressure roll 2, the base 3 and the unit 18 are returned to a position for supplying the following sheet. Many pressure cushions 71 of the rolls 2 can be regulated at the pressure on the parts of the glass sheet V.
