Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a plate-like piece from getting out of a groove on a square shaft, and to reduce cost.
CONSTITUTION: In a device for preventing looseness of a square shaft wherein a plate-like piece 4 fitted into a groove 12 of the square shaft 1 is provided between a tab 20 for rotative operation and an operating member 2 that are connected with the square shaft 1 and the tab 20 for rotative operation and the operating member 2 are fixed with fixing claws 41 and 41 while the plate- like piece 4 is pressed with a setscrew 5, the square shaft 1 is constructed of a pair of opposite members 11 and 11. The groove 12 of the square shaft 1 is constructed of half grooves 12a and 12a and notched parts 12b and 12b. Unnotched parts 13 and 13 are provided to the middle between the notched parts 12b and 12b of the opposite members 11 and 11. Projecting parts 42 and 42 to be brought into contact with the unnotched parts 13 and 13 are provided to the outer edges of the plate-like piece 4.
