To provide a device which completely cuts off an anus including the circular muscle of an animal by providing a holding element containing the spin of the dead body of the animal so as to improve cutting.
A device for completely cutting off and removing the anus including the circular muscle of the slaughtered animal such as a poultry, pig, or the like is disclosed. A center fixing pin 10 is housed within a holding device provided with a rough front surface removing the skin of the animal around the anus. The element 20 is coaxial with a nearly cylindrical rotary cutter 30. The pin 10 is inserted to the anus and the element 20 is extended next to come into contact with the skin near the anus of the animal. Next, the pin 10 provided with a conical knob at its terminal is moved toward the element 20 slightly apart from the animal to remove the circular muscle of the anus between the shoulder part 14 of the pin 10 and the recessed part 26 of the element 20. This element 20 is provided with the rough front surface, desirably a surface with an angle of skew, and forms a raised part in the state of a pleat so that this surface is in contact with the skin and easily cuts of the skin.
