To provide a device for separating an azeotropic mixture, with simple composition and processes, and low cost, reducing the amount of energy to be applied to achieve high energy-saving effect, and obtaining components of high purity; and to provide a method for separating an azeotropic mixture.
An azeotropic mixture is distilled in a distillation column 2 to obtain distillate steam and bottoms, and the distillate steam thus obtained is separated into steam as a heat source for a reboiler and steam for pulling out products. The compressed and heated distillate steam A is supplied, as the heat source, to the reboiler 5, and the compressed and heated distillate steam B passes through a steam-permeable membrane 6 to be separated into a non-permeable component and a permeable component. Then, the non-permeable component is recovered after heating the azeotropic mixture. The composition of the device and the processes are simple to reduce equipment cost and achieve high energy-saving effect, and the components are separated by using the steam-permeable membrane 6. Consequently, the device 1 for separating an azeotropic mixture and the method for separating an azeotropic mixture are provided, the device and method obtaining the components of high purity.
