Abstract:
To provide a photocatalyst for decomposing a volatile aromatic compound, the photocatalyst quickly decomposing a volatile aromatic compound in a gas phase; and to provide a product having a photocatalytic function, the product using the photocatalyst concerned.
The photocatalyst for decomposing a volatile aromatic compound decomposes a volatile aromatic compound in a gas phase. In addition, the photocatalyst includes tungsten oxide particles as the main component, the surfaces of the tungsten oxide particles being coated with titanium oxide particles, and the amount of the titanium oxide particles to be used in the coating, is 3-45 pts.mass, in terms of titanium, to 100 pts.mass of the tungsten oxide particles.
