Title:
DEVICE FOR SIMULATION OF HIGH FREQUENCY QUENCHING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010230331
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a device for simulation of high frequency quenching, capable of estimating the heating condition or cooling condition of a heating coil or cooling jacket.

A magnetic field analyzing FEM model suitable for calculating the eddy current distribution by high-frequency heating and a heat treatment analyzing FEM model suitable for analyzing the temperature distribution, metal tissue distribution and stress-strain distribution of a metal part in a mutually correlated state are set as an analyzing FEM model, respectively. The magnetic field analyzing FEM model is used in a magnetic field analyzing part 4A and the heat treatment analyzing FEM model is used in a heat treatment analyzing part 4C. A heat value calculation unit 4B converts the eddy current at every element calculated by the magnetic field analyzing part 4A to the heat value at every element in the heat treatment analyzing FEM model. A physical property value updating part 4D converts the temperature at every nodal point calculated by the heat treatment analyzing part 4C to the temperature at every nodal point corresponding to the FEM model used in the magnetic field analyzing part 4A and the electric conductivity and relative permeability at every element.
