Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stack the curved veneers in a plane by providing second carrying devices which are continuously arranged in the vertical direction in the downstream of a first carrying device, a third carrying device provided with a reversing device to reverse and carry the veneer, a veneer holding and carrying device capable of switching the forward and reverse traveling, a stacking device, and a carrying passage switching device to the second and third carrying devices.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of the veneer curved in a downwardly projecting manner, a first carrying device 1 is connected to a third carrying device 35 by a carrying passage switching device 39. The veneer 5 carried in by the first carrying device 3 is reversed so as to be upwardly projecting by a veneer reversing device 45 through the third carrying device 35, and then, the veneer is carried to and stacked on a stacking device 27 by a needling conveyor having needles 19 on the outer periphery of a belt 17 and a veneer holding and carrying device 15 consisting of a cylinder 2 and a pressing body 25. In the case of the veneer curved in an upwardly projecting manner, the first carrying device 3 is connected to thc second carrying devices 11, 13 by the carrying passage switching device 39. The upwardly projecting veneer 5 carried in by the first carrying device 13 is carried to and stacked on the stacking device 27 by the veneer holding and carrying device 15 through the second carrying devices 11, 13.
