Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stabilize the ignition of a bath burner when the ignition of the bath burner is required during hot water supply operation in a complex hot water supply heater provided with a hot water supply function and a bath function, and what is more, to prevent fluctuations in a hot water supply temperature during the ignition operation of a burner.
CONSTITUTION: A hot water supply burner is three-stage change-over type or more particularly surfaces A, B and C where combustion stage change over is carried out by opening/closing hot water supply capacity control valves 30 to 32. A gas fuel supply pressure of a bath burner and a hot water supply burner 28 is fed by one proportional valve 35 while the supply and exhaust between the bath side and the hot water supply side is carried out by one combustion fan 37. When the ignition of the bath burner 26 is required during hot water supply combustion, the pressure of gas is set to a loosened ignition gas pressure, if the gas fuel supply pressure exceeds the loosened ignition gas pressure, thereby igniting the gas burner 26 smoothly. At the same time, the amount of water on the hot water supply side is controlled by throttling a water amount control valve 21, thereby reducing hot water supply load and preventing fluctuations in the hot water supply temperature accompanied by a drop of the gas pressure to the loosened ignition gas pressure.
