Electronic paper 10 as the image display device is provided with a female connector 16 that couples other electronic paper so that mutual display surfaces are in the same direction and positioned on a common plane and enables to display data containing at least image data representing an image to be displayed on a display surface to be inputted from the electronic paper by coupling the electronic paper and a male connector 18 which couples other electronic paper different from the electronic paper coupled by the female connector 16 so that mutual display surfaces are in the same direction and disposed on the common plane and enables display data containing at least image data representing the image to be displayed on the electronic paper to be outputted to the electronic paper.
