PURPOSE: To provide a device for taking out a solidified residual metal, in which the arrangement and the shifting of a removing ring and the removal of the solidified residual metal in the removing ring can automatically and quickly be executed.

CONSTITUTION: The removing ring 7 is fitted to the tip part of a supporting bar 13. The supporting bar 13 is fitted to a supporting member 17 so as to be shakable in the vertical direction. A rod in a driving cylinder 21 is connected with the rear end part of the supporting bar 13 through a universal joint 25. A supporting member 19 supporting the supporting member 17 and the dividing cylinder 21 so as to be shakable in the vertical direction is constituted so as to be rotatable in the horizontal direction. A roller 33 fitted to the rear end of the supporting bar 13 is guided with a guide member forming a first vertical groove, horizontal groove 39 and a second vertical groove 40. A pushing rod is arranged so as to push and drop the solidified residual metal in the removing ring 7 withdrawn and ascended.
