Abstract:
To provide a device which is simple in tightening operation and is capable of assuring the tightening with desired tensile strength.
This device has a base 3 and a stop ratchet mechanism and is used to tighten a toothed strap 2 of fasteners for sporting footwear. The device has a pawl piece 12 which is connected by a joint to the base 3 and is engageable with the plural number of teeth of the strap 2 and a secondary lever 7 which is connected to the base 3 by the joint and activates this pawl piece 12 so as to detach or attach the pawl piece 23 from or to the position where the pawl pieces engages with the plural number of teeth of the strap 2.
