Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reliably transmit a high electric current not less than 30kA by mutually joining a semispherical stationary contact point surface and a conical movable contact point surface coincident with this by force by a centering and tension bolt and a ball fastener coincident with this.
CONSTITUTION: A movable part M composed of a contact point flange 3, a sleeve 6, an electric current cable 4 or the like, rises by a support plate 5, and a contact surface of a conical recessed part 3a comes into contact with a contact surface of a semispherical part 2a of a contact point of a stationary part S. Afterwards, balls 15, 15',... roll along a conical surface 6b of the sleeve 6 by a piston rod 8a, and move a bush 13 downward until the direction is changed inside in the radial direction. When the rod 8a is lowered further, the balls 15, 15',... are fastened between an inner wall of a cylindrical narrow part 6a of the sleeve 6 and a conical surface 2c of a centering and tension bolt 2b, and are joined together by force between the semispherical part 2a of the stationary part of a device and the flange 3.
